What a day for the Tombstone Huckleberries! They shellacked the Dyersville
Jurassics pitching for 9 runs while Roy Halladay(9-2)with the help of the
bullpen held Dyersville to 1 run.
The Dyersville fans didn't appreciate the big day Edgar Renteria had. He
laced a one-base hit resulting in a run in the 2nd inning, delivered a solo
blast (his 4th of the season) in the 5th inning and ripped a base-knock
bringing in two baserunners in the 6th inning. Tombstone finished with 9
hits in the victory.
Wade Miller(1-1) suffered the loss. He gave up 6 runs in 5 innings of work.
The Tombstone ballclub's record now stands at 42-31. Dyersville has a record
of 33-40 after the loss.
